A roundabout explanation.

Circular intersections known as roundabouts can seem confusing. But you can navigate them with ease by following these simple steps:

  1. Approach. Slow down, watch for people using the crosswalk, and be ready to stop.
  2. Yield. Yield to traffic already in the roundabout coming from your immediate left.
  3. Enter. Turn right into the roundabout when it is safe to do so.
  4. Exit. Use your right turn signal to let others know where you plan to exit. Then exit slowly.
