It's a tragic fact that car crashes are the number one killer of youth aged 13 to 25 in B.C. That's why the graduated licensing program was introduced: to help learners develop safer driving habits for life.
As new drivers go through the learner stage and novice stage, restrictions are in place to reduce their risk of crashing while gaining valuable driving experience.
Parents of teens also play important role by setting a good driving example and being involved in the learning process. Thank you!
